Concrete packaging design + die cut booklets
Inspired by the aesthetics as well as history of the Rockwell typeface, a bold and unconventional approach to packaging design with concrete as a material was employed. The aim of Rock Well was not only to convey a strong message about the typeface, but more importantly, to evoke a reaction through interesting and conceptually driven packaging. From meat slabs packed in styrofoam trays that analyzes font anatomy to rock-cut booklets that speak of history, facts and usage, to technically challenging concrete packages, the selection of form and aesthetics clearly demonstrate high relevancy to the bold characteristics of the Rockwell typeface.
